Support the Peer Listening Initiative Today

The Peer Listening Initiative was started to allow students to have deeper conversations with peers who understand the struggles of being a medical student. Through this process, we realized that nothing would support medical students more than relieving their financial burdens during unexpected emergencies.

We often hear about overworked and stressed physicians, but what many fail to realize is that from the day they graduate college to the day they step into the clinic as physicians, they have not taken many breaks. It's time we invest in the future of medical students because unexpected financial stress should be the least of their burdens as they undergo the rigorous process of becoming medical doctors.

Your help is crucial in making this a reality!  Your generous donation will be added to a reserve fund that medical students can apply to for financial assistance during emergencies. Each student will be allowed to make two requests per year. We hope to apply for grants in the future, and with increased use of our program, we will be more likely to receive approval. For this reason, medical students are encouraged to have a peer listening session before applying for funds.

Thank you to all those who have donated and to those planning to donate. Your support is invaluable in helping us create positive change in the lives of future medical professionals. Together, we can ensure that they receive the support they need to become the compassionate, dedicated healthcare providers of tomorrow.
