Background:
I went to Loyola University Chicago and majored in Biology with a minor in Psychology. I took a gap year after undergrad and worked at Tempus, a biotech company that created a database aimed at improving precision medicine for cancer treatments. I am planning on applying to Emergency Medicine since my background as an Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) made me excited about this field in medicine. I had to take time off during medical school for personal reasons and am currently off-cycle, but am on-track to graduate in January! I am very passionate about mentorship and I enjoy being a resource to anyone who comes to me for advice. Life is hard; my goal is to try to make yours a little easier.

A Bit About Me

I was originally born in Mexico and came to the US when I was five years old. My culture is very important to me, and I love sharing my family’s recipes if anyone asks! I love the outdoors, going on runs, talking about fitness. I have two dogs and a cat and they are my entire world. I am on a quest to find the best mac and cheese, so if you have any recommendations let me know!
